Gabriel MVOGO SAINT’s Engagement in Private and Civil Society Initiatives Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026
As the FIFA World Cup 2026 approached, a wide range of private-sector, nonprofit, civic, and community initiatives emerged across the United States, contributing to a broader movement extending beyond the sporting dimension of the world’s most anticipated football event.
Among the leaders engaged in this broader ecosystem was Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, Founder and President of the International Youth Institute – Youth Institute USA, whose work focuses on youth leadership, international cooperation, and the active participation of young people in major global initiatives.
A Distinguished Participation in Earth Week Miami 2026
In April 2026, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT participated in Earth Week Miami 2026, an international initiative dedicated to environmental awareness, sustainability, innovation, and responsible development, organized by The ECO Channel, under the leadership of its founder and President, Mr. Michel Thomas.
Held from April 22–26, 2026, Earth Week Miami brought together entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, scientists, artists, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to address some of the most pressing environmental challenges facing the world today.
The 2026 edition was organized around the theme “One Week. One Planet. One Movement.” and featured a diverse program of panels, exhibitions, innovation showcases, community initiatives, and international networking opportunities designed to transform environmental awareness into concrete action.
The opening of the 2026 edition took place at the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) in Dania Beach, Florida, in the immediate vicinity of Le Méridien Dania Beach. DCOTA is one of South Florida’s leading destinations for design, exhibitions, cultural programming, and international events.
Earth Week Miami placed particular emphasis on emerging solutions in areas such as clean energy, marine technology, sustainable fashion, circular economy, ecotourism, responsible beauty, and environmental innovation.
For Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, participation in this international initiative represented an important opportunity to connect the Youth Institute USA’s youth leadership agenda with the growing global movement for environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
The Youth Institute’s approach is based on the belief that young people should not simply be spectators of major international events. They should be active stakeholders, contributors, innovators, and leaders capable of participating in the development of solutions to the global challenges of their generation.
From International Football to Youth and Civic Engagement
Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT’s participation in Earth Week Miami also reflects a broader commitment to initiatives surrounding international football and major global sporting events.
In 2025, he was involved in the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, serving as an official match-ball bearer during the tournament. This experience marked an important milestone in the development of the Youth Institute USA’s engagement with the international football community.
His involvement continued in 2026 through the second edition of the World Youth Forum, held in Miramar, Florida, in April 2026.
During the Forum, President Gabriel MVOGO SAINT received official adidas FIFA World Cup 2026 “Trionda Pro” match balls, engraved with the name of the Youth Institute and signed by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
Beyond their symbolic value, these official footballs represent an important recognition of the Youth Institute’s efforts to create meaningful connections between young people, international institutions, sport, leadership, and global cooperation.
