Since its creation in 2018, our organization has set itself the goal of strengthening cooperation between Europe and Africa and anticipating the major challenges of the 21st century through sustainable and concrete initiatives. Driven by the conviction that complementary resources and funding can pave the way for emergence, we have worked to bring young people closer to institutions and promote their increased presence in decision-making bodies.
Over the years, we have implemented a number of initiatives, including internship programs, extra-curricular training, advocacy initiatives, and university partnerships, mobilizing hundreds of young people in the service of greater civic and professional engagement. These achievements have enabled us to consolidate bilateral and multilateral efforts in favor of sustainable transcontinental cooperation.
The profound geopolitical and geostrategic changes observed in recent years the global health crisis, the reshaping of international balances, and changes in political and economic environments have led us to rethink the scale, scope, and ambition of our action. In light of these transformations, it became necessary to embark on the second phase of our project: transforming our organization into a larger, more structured international structure that is better equipped to train and support the talents of tomorrow’s world.
We are proud to announce today the evolution of the Organisation des Jeunes pour l’Union Européenne et Africaine (Youth Organization for the European and African Union) into the International Youth Institute (YOUTH INSTITUTE.)
The Youth Institute is now a leading international organization dedicated to youth, structured around four strategic areas: Diplomacy, Economics, Advanced Technologies, and the Sports Ecosystem. Designed as a center for skills development and a global talent laboratory, the Youth Institute aims to bring young people closer to national and international institutions, support professional and entrepreneurial careers, and facilitate access to knowledge and opportunities.
Our priority missions include:
- creating and strengthening institutional partnerships with universities and research centers around the world;
- setting up immersion programs and practical internships aimed at transforming academic teaching into skills that can be applied in the field;
- organizing international events (forums, symposiums, academies) designed to promote intergenerational cooperation;
- developing academic infrastructure and targeted programs in vulnerable and developing regions;
- sponsoring, mentoring, and recommending promising talent to public and private actors.
The Youth Institute is also committed to developing strategic partnerships with international institutions, governments, technology companies, and financial actors to ensure the impact and sustainability of its projects. Our action will take the form of concrete programs, certification courses, and the creation of a global network of alumni and national representatives.
By opening this new chapter, we are affirming our desire to move from regional influence to global action: it is no longer just a question of challenging, but of building, supporting, and investing sustainably in the skills of young people.
We extend our gratitude to all those who have contributed to this journey young participants, academic partners, institutions, and private supporters and now invite public and private actors, governments, and investors to join us in this collective ambition.
