Youth Institute USA at the “Experience Florida – Broward County” Program in the City of Miramar
On June 17, 2025, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, Founder of the International Youth Institute(Youth Institute USA), took part in an economic discovery day and institutional presentation of the City of Miramar, organized as part of the “Experience Florida-Broward County” program.
This high-level initiative was led by the Office of Foreign Missions (OFM), in collaboration with the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) of the U.S. Department of State, and was exclusively designed for the diplomatic corps accredited in Florida, specifically diplomats residing in the Miami area. The objective of this professional visit was to strengthen dialogue between diplomatic missions and local authorities, while showcasing the economic and institutional potential of Broward County.
Exploring Miramar’s strategic infrastructure and economic ecosystem
Throughout the day, participants had the opportunity to visit several key public infrastructures and emblematic private-sector organizations in the City of Miramar, highlighting its economic dynamism, attractiveness, and capacity for innovation.
Key highlights included:
- A visit to the City of Miramar Police Department’s video surveillance center, demonstrating the municipality’s investment in public safety technologies and citizen protection.
- A presentation of the Miramar Park of Commerce, one of the largest economic and business hubs in the region, hosting a wide range of national and international companies.
- An immersion visit to Nutrition Formulators, a leading company specializing in the formulation and manufacturing of nutritional supplements, illustrating the industrial expertise and competitiveness of Miramar’s private sector.
These visits enabled diplomats and invited guests to gain a deeper understanding of the diversity of economic opportunities available in Miramar, as well as the quality of its business environment.

Official meeting with the mayor of Miramar
One of the most significant moments of the day was the official meeting with the Mayor of the City of Miramar, Mr. Wayne M. Messam. On this occasion, the Mayor welcomed the diplomatic corps and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in strengthening the city’s international outreach.
In his remarks, Mayor Wayne M. Messam highlighted:
- Miramar’s strategic vision for sustainable economic development,
- the city’s commitment to innovation, economic inclusion, and international cooperation,
- as well as its strong willingness to develop partnerships with diplomatic representations, investors, and international organizations.
Mayor Messam reaffirmed that Miramar positions itself today as a forward-looking city, combining quality of life, security, and economic attractiveness.
A Visit Marked by a Strong Symbol of Sport and Diplomacy
During the visit, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT had the honor of presenting the official ball of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 to the diplomatic corps. This symbolic gesture illustrated the role of sport as a powerful vehicle for diplomacy, intercultural dialogue, and youth engagement, values that are central to the mission of Youth Institute USA.
At the conclusion of the program, Youth Institute USA, through the voice of Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, expressed its sincere appreciation:
