Miramar to Host the 2nd Edition of the World Youth Forum – FIFA World Cup 2026 Special Edition

The President of the International Youth Institute (Youth Institute USA), Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, was honored to be received in an official meeting by The Honorable Wayne Martin Messam, Mayor of the City of Miramar, Florida (United States), in the presence of members of the Mayor’s Office and representatives of Broward County partners.
This high-level meeting took place in a spirit of collaboration and constructive dialogue, with the objective of confirming Miramar as the host city of the second edition of the World Youth Forum – FIFA World Cup 2026 Special Edition, an international initiative led by the International Youth Institute.

Under the leadership of The Honorable Mayor Wayne Martin Messam, the City of Miramar has implemented numerous initiatives in support of youth development, education, entrepreneurship, and social inclusion. The city also promotes programs designed to strengthen youth participation in economic, social, cultural, and civic processes, thereby reinforcing its international outlook and its capacity to host major global events.
The meeting with Mayor Wayne Martin Messam focused on the framework and logistical arrangements for hosting the second edition of the World Youth Forum, FIFA World Cup 2026 Special Edition, scheduled to take place from April 15 to 17, 2026, in Miramar, in alignment with the organization of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The World Youth Forum serves as a global platform for reflection, dialogue, and action, bringing together young leaders from around the world to engage on key issues related to sport, economics, innovation, diplomacy, and sustainable development.
Building on the success of its first edition, held in Paris in May 2024 in conjunction with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Forum brought together hundreds of young talents, international organizations, institutional representatives, and experts around shared goals of peace, inclusion, and youth empowerment.
During the discussions, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT emphasized to the Mayor that Miramar represents a strategic location for global youth engagement, due to its cultural diversity, economic openness, and strong ambition to develop international partnerships.
For his part, The Honorable Mayor Wayne M. Messam expressed his agreement and readiness to host the second edition of the World Youth Forum in Miramar, reaffirming that the city has long been committed to supporting initiatives that empower young people to become meaningful actors of social and economic change in the 21st century.
In conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT had the honor of presenting The Honorable Mayor Wayne M. Messam with the official ball of the FIFA Club World Cup USA 2025, for which he serves as an official ambassador.
This symbolic gesture highlighted the strong connection between sport, diplomacy, and youth mobilization, core values consistently promoted by the International Youth Institute.
