Dear Young Leaders from around the world,
Allow me, first and foremost, to express my sincere gratitude for your presence and your commitment to making this Global Youth Forum Special World Cup 2026 Edition a true platform for dialogue, inspiration, and transformation.
I would like to extend my highest regards to Mr. Gabriel MVOGO SAINT, President of Youth Institute USA, whose visionary leadership continues to empower and mobilize a generation of globally conscious youth.
My respectful acknowledgment also goes to the Honorable Wayne Messam, Mayor of the City of Miramar, for his continued support of youth-driven initiatives and his dedication to fostering inclusive and forward-looking communities.
I also wish to recognize the distinguished diplomatic representatives present here today, including the Consuls of Bangladesh and North Macedonia, as well as business leaders, institutional partners, and international delegations whose presence adds significant value to this forum.
Dear Participants,
As we come to the close of this Global Youth Forum, I would like to leave you with a simple yet powerful reflection, eloquently shared by our Secretary General: the future does not belong to those who wait for opportunity it belongs to those who have the courage to create it.
Each of you carries a unique capacity: the ability to transform your communities, to innovate in the face of challenges, and to build bridges where others see barriers. This capacity is not theoretical it is real, immediate, and essential in today’s world.
Courage is not the absence of difficulty. It is the deliberate choice to move forward with clarity and conviction, even when uncertainty lies ahead. It is in these very moments that true leadership is forged.
Peace does not simply emerge it is built. And it begins with leadership. But leadership rooted in what? In character. In integrity. In accountability.
Today’s world urgently needs young leaders who are willing to make principled choices: to choose collaboration over division, purpose over popularity, and service over self-interest. These decisions, often unseen but deeply consequential, are what shape sustainable and resilient societies.
Whether you return home as students, entrepreneurs, athletes, or community builders, remember this: leadership is not defined by titles or positions. It is defined by the lives you uplift, the opportunities you create for others, and the hope you inspire.
Finally, I would like to emphasize a critical driver of transformation: the entrepreneurial mindset.
Entrepreneurship is not limited to building businesses. It is, above all, a way of thinking. It is the ability to identify problems and design solutions. It is the determination to create opportunities where none exist. It is the boldness to imagine a better future and the discipline to bring it to life.
Much like soccer, which brings us together in the spirit of the 2026 World Cup, the greatest victories are never achieved alone. They are built through teamwork, shared vision, and relentless determination. No lasting success is ever created in isolation.
It is together united by shared values and driven by a collective ambition that we will rise to meet the challenges of our generation.
